The Vine February 23, 2022 Announcements, From the Pastor's Desk Its sort of a breath taking site. You stand there and feel the mist from the crashing water tickling your face. The noise after a fresh rain can be just standing and enjoying the silence of water pounding earth. Toccoa Falls is a site to see if you get down Georgia way, just a hundred-mile NE of Atlanta. It was those college years that make us want to return and start over. But we can’t go back, only forward. We can’t erase the good or bad of our youth or lifespan. Its only today that counts, and we should live it like it may be our last. As we conclude our study in 1’st John, we are free to abide in God and He will abide in us. The fruit will always be obvious on God’s vine if we walk in the Spirit. Rotton fruit dries and rots off, but if we remain steadfast, the fruit of our lips in our lives will bless others. We are able to love our fellow believers and be at peace with God. May we stand under His spout where His water is poured out and be cleansed as we abide in Jesus Christ. May you rest in Christ alone. w
